The long awaited arrival of an NHL team in the city of Seattle was something that excited us to say the least. The last team to enter the league, Las Vegas, made an explosive entrance that had sports media buzzing with delight.
Eager to partner with the team, I presented an idea that would start as a classic coffee table book, and continue into a full campaign that allows fans to explore the beginnings and execution of bringing a team to life in the greatest league in the world. Without a public-facing team name, we were challenged to create a modular program that presented the project in a way that could be fully branded post-launch.
Although the project is on hold due to the restrictions of sports while we move through the Covid-19 pandemic, I am excited to move forward and bring our special point of view to a city that deserves it.
